Sustainable Network (Dissemination and industrial valorization)

Grenoble is one of the few large multidisciplinary academic research hubs worldwide on microelectronics, gathering several tens of academic staff. It occupies a forefront academic position and possesses unique assets to engage in the transfer of knowledge and processes towards industry.
This will offer invaluable opportunities for future funding, in the framework of the forthcoming transnational Flagship-related calls, other EU schemes including training networks, and national-scale calls involving economic partners.

The NEED project will put strong emphasis on dissemination and valorization, to maximize the impact of the project and the visibility of Grenoble on the national and international stage (WP3). Three main tasks are devoted to this objective.

Task 1

Pursuing the effort already deployed to develop a large European Network of sustainable IoT.

Task 2

Serving as a leverage to develop the Grenoble position on sustainable IoT through the help of industrial partners, both large groups and local SMEs, which will fund PhD CIFRE grants in complement of the 10 PhD grants. These PhD grants will be launched in the framework of common laboratories and already existing collaborations in particular with STMicrolectronics, CROCUS, and SOITEC.

Task 3

Supervising a pool of PhD students that will meet every 3 months to share work and experience crossing social sciences and technological sciences. These meetings will be held in the presence of all project partners.
